Actually the Dark and Twisted Fairytale is a successful Syfy staple; and they were way ahead of the current trend with Tin Man (2007) and Alice (2009). This prequel to Peter Pan attempts to imagine
a back story for the characters and there seems to be a particular focus on the younger Hook.
Oh yes! It also has Pirates!
