Complete With Boxing Glove Arrow...

Arrow concept artist Andy Poon had fun sneaking the Emerald Archer's iconic trick arrow
into one of the renderings of Ollie's slightly redesigned Season 3 costume by Maya Mani.

Preview Photos - Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) - Tonight on Arrow

Just for the record - I've been pretty certain for a while Summer Glau's character (Isabel Rochev)
will ultimately be revealed as Talia al Ghul.
Ra's al Ghul's other daughter Nyssa - is a relatively modern (2003) addition to the al Ghul family - that I'm not all that familiar with. But she's generally known as Nyssa Raatko, Talia's Russian born 1/2 sister.
But that's why ARROW is cool - they're always re-mixing ideas from a broad range of DC material.

In any case - Nyssa's ARROW incarnation looks pretty badass.

OMG - It's the Lazarus Pit! - Or is it?!

A grainy green glob has set in motion another round of fan speculation as to plot points in the next Nolan Batman movie. This "leaked" photo from the set in India (as well as constant flow of mysterious casting tidbits) manage to keep attention on a movie that is still a year away. Don't get me wrong - it's brilliant promotion, and very fitting for the Dark Knight Detective. But in contrast Green Lantern is only few weeks away...catch the misdirection?

Visit ScreenRant for a great review of the various rumors/speculation as well as an explanation of the Lazarus Pit for the less nerdly inclined.

Marion Cotillard on her mysterious Batman DK Rises role...

This is a very subtle way to keep interest in your movie, even deep in the midst of the competitors hype. From a brief LA Times interview with Marion Cotillard comes this tidbit.
Nolan and Warner Bros. said in a recent release that Cotillard would be playing Miranda Tate, a member of the Wayne Enterprises board "eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham."

But Nolan has a history of misdirection in casting announcements, which made some fans doubt the character reveal. And, indeed, it may not be as simple as Cotillard playing Tate.

Asked by 24 Frames in a recent interview about her part in the film, Cotillard responded with a coy, "My role is a secret, as is the whole project." So speculation about who she'll actually be -- from a love interest of Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne/Batman to a more shadowy character -- can run riot.
So, although this is Thor's week -- Batman wins.
