Would You Know This Guy is Lobo If Someone Didn't Tell You?

While this is a very attractive alien dude - there is scarcely a trace of the Main Man left here.
It's a baffling re-design choice that removes everything that made the character unique and
instantly identifiable - seemingly for the sake of fitting him into the often generic visual style of the New 52.

DC also shared 3 other designs they considered.
So it could of been worse...

...with a design that looks like an attempt to appeal to Loki fans...

...or better - with either of these more Khal Drogo-esque barbarian inspired takes.
Which would have been fine...

...I actually kinda like this last one.

Here's the synopsis for the reveal in September's Justice League #23.2: Lobo -
"The Lobo you’ve seen so far in the New 52 is not who you think he is. In this one-shot, you’ll be
introduced to the real Lobo. A ruthless killer, Lobo is on a quest to kill the man who has taken his name."

As Star Wars fiction fan I've got to tell you - that sounds an awful lot like
the old Expanded Universe Tale of Boba Fett and Jodo Kast.

Captain America: Winter Soldier - Costume & Motorcycle @SDCC

Round-up a various photos featuring Cap's new Winter Soldier movie costume and bike
on display at San Diego Comic-Con 2013.

Original costume along with the Howling Commandos was also displayed - this is still the best best Cap movie costume by far - hopefully he'll end up in something closer to it by Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.

Superman - Man of Many Suits - Fan Art by Imbong Hadisoebroto

Artist Imbong Hadisoebroto not only created this super info graphic that reveals Supes
has had more costume changes than one may have realized - he's also rendered some
really nice versions of Kal-El in the new Man of Steel movie suit...

...as well at this great take on the New 52 design.
