Rodarte's 80's inspired Fall 2014 Ready to Wear collection shown at NY Fashion Week.

The gowns won't actually be for sale as part of the collection - but will be available for

Marvel Inspired Runway Fashion - Romance Was Born Spring 2013 Collection Opens Fashion Week Australia With a POW!

This Marvel Comics inspired collection from Romance Was Born kicked of Fashion Week in Australia.

Marvel granted the RWB designers permission to use the Mighty Marvel Archives for inspiration. 

And while some pieces do literally feature Retro Marvel Heroes in the print motifs, most of the collection relies more on evoking the early groovy cosmic line art and even the costume styles of Ditko, Kirby, and Simon.

Rodarte - Best Shoes of NY Fashion Week Spring 2012

 Just some of Rodarte's shoes & boots Fall 2012. The chunky riveted heels, embossed leather straps, 

and laced spat styling give them just the right hint of everyday Steampunk style. There's something 

also nicely retro about the toe shape, yet the cut-outs, and sand filled heels are fresh and modern.
