A Super New Year/Holiday Lois & Clark Comic by Des Taylor

Des Taylor created a fantastic Superman Holiday comic and shared it

with fans in celebration and with great thanks for a super 2014!

For the rest of the adventure head over to DESPOP ART...

And be sure to follow his Facebook Art Page for project/con updates and new art in 2015.

Des is amazing - nobody does Retro like him and he makes it all look so effortless.
Can't wait to see what he creates in 2015!

And while it would be sublime to see a Superman feature in his style when DC Animation eventually grows out of
it's New 52 phase - I really think it's about time for some Des Taylor (DC or Marvel) variant comic covers!

Meeting and chatting with Des has been one of top highlights of New York Comic Con the last two years - these are the 3 gorgeous prints, plus his fun cheeky art book I picked up at this past October's NYCC. Thank You - Des!

Mark Hamill Briefly Reprised The Joker at Disney Star Wars Weekend and It Was Glorious!

The Joker voice I always hear in my head...I mean...when I read the Joker in a comic of course.

And here's the full 45 minute convo with Hamill via Inside the Magic

which features a great write up with more photos here.

Burtonesque Catwoman Stalked The Blonds Fall 2014 Catwalk

The Blonds Fall 2014 collection @ NY Fashion Week was inspired by Catwoman, Gotham, and Kitties in general. Above are some of the coolest looks - the Gotham Skyline Suit is my fave.

And while the major influence was clearly the Burton/Pfieffer Cats - if you check out the Runway Show

some of the pieces seem to veer a bit into Schumacher territory.

I've adored Josh's work for along time...he just gets better and better.
This Joker piece is brilliant!

Love That Joker - Animated Dark Knight Returns Pt 2, Harley's Joker Web Series, Killing Joke Statue & Sideshow 12'" Figure

Part 2 of DC's animated adaptation of Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns is available today on DVD/Blu-ray. Joker is the featured villain of the second half of the story and he's voiced by Michael Emerson this time. Which is a pretty cool choice - even if I can never help feeling the Joker's voice is just not right in these animated offerings when it's not not Mark Hamill's.

Here are a couple of Joker-centric clips via Batman-News.com.

The incredible (an yes - I'll say it - THE BEST) Joker cosplay artist Harley's Joker will be playing
the Clown Prince of Crime in The Batman Chronicles - a web series seeking fan support at Indiegogo.
Check out the teaser and give the project your support if you can.

...and lastly here are a couple of upcoming must have Joker collectibles.

I saw this impressive Kotobukiya statue based on The Killing Joke on display at NYCC back in October.
It was large and highly detailed - but I had no idea it also includes awesome light & sound features.

And the 1/6th DC Comics likeness Joker Action Figure from Sideshow...

... just looks incredible.
