The Making of That Epic AVENGERS Team Battle Sequence

Industrial Light & Magic reveals how they assembled the epic team "long shot" for The Avengers.
I've seen, and enjoyed, plenty of superhero movies - but this sequence was the first time I really
felt like I was actually watching comic book panels come to life.

The Island of Misfit Toys - An Alt Rudolph Sequel by Hartter

King Moonracer was always my favorite in Rudolph
He was dark and enigmatic - kind of like the Batman of the Rankin & Bass Universe.
This is the sequel we deserved - instead we got Rudolph's Shiny New Year.

Merry Kitsch-mas - A Retro-delic Music Video for Cornershop

Music video for Cornershop's Holiday single "Every Year So Different".
Inspired by the kitschy X-mas card of the 50's and 60's it' kinda like peering into the secret world of snow globes come to life. Via Promo News.

Speaking of Micheal Moorcock...
...just remembered these 2 Epic Alt Universe film posters Sean Hartter did awhile back!

Marvel Movie Crossover! Iron Man & Spider-Man in Target Ad

A hint of things to come?
It's probably wishful thinking to read too much into an ad that most likely owes its existence to Hasbro's
toy licensing - hence the prominent placement of that Tree Guy between IM and Spidey. But...maybe?

Moody New Motion Poster For THE WOLVERINE

It's been a big week for trailer premieres.
THE WOLVERINE won't have a trailer ready until early 2013.
But a broody new poster was just revealed - you can also see the animated version here.

THE HOBBIT Midnight Premiere IMAX Exclusive Posters

Just gorgeous, character portrait posters.
These will be the giveways at the 12:01 premiere IMAX screenings on December 14th.
While the standard HOBBIT posters haven't been horrible...these would have made fantastic official posters. Can't find an artist credit yet - but they have a vaguely Drew Struzan feel to them.

The Lord of The Rings Poster by Olly Moss for Mondo

LOTR by Olly Moss. It's the simple little details that really make this sing.
Why can't actual movie posters be more like this?
I like the warm tone version a bit more - see more close-up photos of both @Mondo.
