Alcatraz - Making of the "Bullitt" Homage Finale Car Chase

Neat behind the scenes feature on the Alcatraz Season Finale car chase that payed
homage to the iconic Steve McQueen film Bullitt and featured the new 2013 Mustang.

...and here's a bit of the chase scene from the show.

I hope this show returns, it's probably the quirkiest entry into the already weird JJ Abrams Universe.
It has a great nostalgic Retro feel - beyond the square haircuts of the time jumping 63's - that reminds me of the 70's cop shows I grew up with, weekly bad guys, foot chases, a cool car, and iconoclastic partners.
Doc Soto & Madsen are like the Starsky & Hutch of today.

Makhai

Chimera

Cyclops

And a Cast & Crew Interview Featurette on the Creatures via IGN.

Mythological fantasy films have always really been about the cool monster battles, so it's fitting each creature got a mini making of showcase, and they feature some nice concept art as well.
The Mythic Royal Rumble opens tomorrow Friday March 30th.

Cue The Imperial Wedding March - "Darth Vader" Wedding Band - Custom Design by Homer Liwag

This Star Wars inspired ring is designed by Homer Liwag, he designed the outstanding Indian Jones Engagement ring I shared previously. This is a fantastic subtle design - incorporating motifs of Vader's costume, Lighsaber components, and Imperial Architecture. Visit his design portfolio here.

First Look @ Total Recall is...Ugh...A Teaser for The Trailer

This marketing gimmick is getting old very fast. Full trailer debuts this Sunday April 1st. Hmm...that's an interesting date choice. Looks very Blade Runner-ish as far as the visual style goes.

Update: Here's the New Banner Poster.

Avengers Toy Line Assembles A Hilariously Badass Ad

The best part of this ad is how old the kids are - because honestly a substantial market for these
costume style accessories are grown-up fans wearing them to the Midnight Opening Screenings.

Love This "Little Black Swan" Ad for The Ford Mustang

The chameleon gimmick has a fantastic pay-off at the end.

I Am Bane - You Know For Kids! Dark Knight Rises Covers

Some cover art for the (always a bit bizarre) little kids early reader book tie-ins
to the Batman:The Dark Knight Rises Movie. They had these for the last installment too...

...the Joker is adorable. But it's all just weird.
